Location: Mesquite, TX
Pay: $20.00/hour
Shift: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Schedule: Monday–Friday; overtime as needed

Position Summary

We are hiring a dependable Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator for a distribution facility in Mesquite, TX. This position is responsible for order picking, packing, shipping/receiving, material put-away, and forklift operation.

This is a great opportunity for someone with solid warehouse experience who values a consistent daytime schedule and is looking for an opportunity that could become permanent.

Responsibilities

• Pick, assemble, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Operate sit-down forklift and walkie rider equipment.
• Use handheld scanners and a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to pick orders and put away received material.
• Verify products, quantities, and descriptions against invoices and shipping documents.
• Pack and prepare orders for UPS and LTL shipment.
• Complete shipping paperwork, including BOL information.
• Organize completed orders according to shipping routes.
• Maintain accuracy while working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Assist in other warehouse areas as needed.

Requirements

Must Have:

• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or order fulfillment experience.
• Experience operating a sit-down forklift and/or walkie rider.
• Ability to use handheld scanners or similar warehouse technology.
• Strong attendance and reliability.
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Ability to accurately follow shipping and order instructions.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Steel-toe/work boots required.

Preferred:

• Previous experience with electrical products, electrical supplies, or electrical distribution.
• Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience.
• UPS/LTL shipping and Bill of Lading experience.
• Order picking and material put-away experience.
