Job Summary

A well-established agricultural operation in the Jay, Florida area is seeking dependable workers to assist with seasonal production activities. This is a hands-on, physically active position performed primarily outdoors and in agricultural work areas.

The client’s identity and specific product information will be shared with qualified candidates at the appropriate stage of the hiring process.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist with planting, harvesting, sorting, handling, and general production activities

• Load, unload, move, and organize agricultural products, supplies, and materials

• Inspect products and remove items that do not meet quality standards

• Clean and maintain work areas, tools, containers, and equipment

• Follow instructions provided by supervisors and crew leaders

• Meet daily productivity and quality expectations

• Follow all workplace safety, sanitation, and handling procedures

• Perform other general labor duties as assigned

Work Environment

• Work is primarily performed outdoors or in non-climate-controlled agricultural areas

• Employees may be exposed to heat, humidity, sunlight, dust, dirt, insects, and changing weather conditions

• The position requires standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and repetitive hand movements for extended periods

• Work may take place on uneven or muddy surfaces

• Schedule and hours may vary depending on weather, production needs, and seasonal demand

• Some early mornings, extended shifts, or weekend work may be required

Qualifications

• Previous agricultural, landscaping, warehouse, production, construction, or outdoor labor experience is helpful but not required

• Ability to perform repetitive physical work throughout the shift

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

• Ability to work safely in outdoor weather conditions

• Dependable transportation to the Jay, Florida area

• Reliable attendance and punctuality

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew

• Must meet all employment eligibility requirements
