This company manufactures seating for emergency vehicles such as ambulances wiht a special emphasis on their proprietary design for a child restraint conversion. In this posion the associate will be operating a thermoforming machine. They will go back and forth between the cutting table where they measure the vinyl out from a roll of material, walk that over to the machine and place onto the tool and start the machine. The machine will run for three minutes and will heat the vinyl up and then air compress it to the tool. While the machine is running for 3 minutes they will walk back to the cutting table and prepare more materials. The associate will need to replace the vinyl role every 30 minutes and about 3-4 times a day will have to change out the tool which can weigh up to 100lbs. The associate will be regularly using a tape measure to determine the length of the product down to a 1/4 inch, need to be precise.
6am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday
