Quality Control Technician

Location: Fort Myers, FL
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Control Technician to join a growing manufacturing team in Fort Myers. This position is responsible for inspecting mechanical components, controls, and assembled systems to ensure products meet engineering specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections on mechanical components, controls, and completed assemblies.
• Inspect products to ensure they meet engineering drawings, specifications, and company standards.
• Conduct functional, durability, and performance testing.
• Identify defects, discrepancies, and quality issues during the production process.
• Accurately document inspection and test results.
• Communicate quality issues with production and engineering teams.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving quality concerns.
• Support root cause analysis when product failures or defects occur.
• Help develop and improve quality control procedures and processes.
• Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Quality Control or Quality Assurance experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of assembly processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Experience using quality inspection and testing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
