What You Will Do

• Inbound Receiving: Receive incoming shipments, inspect packaging for damage, and verify contents against bills of lading (BOLs) and packing slips.

• Outbound Processing: Prepare outgoing freight by packaging, weighing, labeling, and banding pallets or corrugated boxes.

• Material Handling: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks to move materials around the dock and load/unload delivery trailers safely.

• Data Entry & Tracking: Input shipping and receiving data into inventory tracking software, ERP systems, or logistics databases.

• Carrier Communication: Coordinate with freight drivers, delivery carriers, and internal teams to ensure accurate, on-time shipments.

• Dock Maintenance: Keep shipping docks, receiving bays, and inventory storage areas clean, organized, and secure.

What You Need

• Experience Level: Minimum 1 year of experience in shipping/receiving, dock operations, or logistics documentation preferred.

• Computer Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory systems, RF scanners, or shipping platforms (FedEx, UPS, DHL, ERPs).

• Equipment Knowledge: Experience operating sit-down forklifts, stand-up lifts, or pallet jacks is a strong plus.

• Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work actively throughout the shift.

• Attention to Detail: Sharp accuracy for verifying part numbers, quantities, and BOL paperwork.

• Reliability: Consistent attendance, daily punctuality, and reliable transportation to Saint Louis, MO 63110.

• Screening: Willingness to complete standard pre-employment background checks and screenings.
