Fabricator / Industrial Painter

Pay: $21.00–$26.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Shift: 1st Shift | Full-Time

We are hiring an experienced Fabricator / Industrial Painter for a full-time, day-shift opportunity with a busy manufacturing operation. This position combines fabrication, industrial painting, mechanical assembly, blueprint reading, and precision measuring.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in manufacturing, metal fabrication, industrial painting, automotive painting/body work, mechanical assembly, or production environments who is looking for consistent hours and a stable, long-term position.

What You’ll Do

• Perform fabrication and mechanical assembly work
• Prepare parts and surfaces for industrial painting
• Apply coatings using paint sprayers, brushes, rollers, and spray cans
• Measure materials and components accurately using tape measures and other measuring tools
• Read and follow assembly blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Inspect work for proper measurements, finish, and quality
• Use mechanical aptitude to assemble and fit components
• Complete assigned production work accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Work closely with other team members to meet daily production goals

 

What We’re Looking For

• At least 1 year of fabrication experience required
• At least 1 year of experience using measuring tools required
• Industrial painting and surface preparation experience
• Experience with spray painting, paint sprayers, brushes, rollers, or similar coating applications
• Ability to accurately use a tape measure and other measuring equipment
• Ability to read and understand assembly blueprints
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform hands-on assembly
• Previous automotive painting, auto body, collision repair, or automotive fabrication experience may also be considered
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Strong work ethic with the ability to complete assignments on schedule
• Team-oriented attitude and willingness to work with others
• Stable work history is strongly preferred
