Sewing Machine Operator – $15/hr

We are seeking an experienced Sewing Machine Operator for a production/manufacturing opportunity. This position will use industrial sewing machines to produce finished products including pillows, cushions, and umbrellas.

Pay: $15/hr
Position: Full-Time

Job Duties

• Sew pillows, cushions, umbrellas, and other finished products according to work orders

• Operate industrial sewing machines

• Work with a variety of fabric types, weights, and textures

• Read and follow patterns, work orders, and production instructions

• Adjust sewing techniques based on product specifications

• Perform basic machine setup and adjustments

• Change machine feet, folders, thread, spools, and bobbins as needed

• Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and workmanship

• Maintain a clean and organized sewing station

• Rotate to other production stations and assist with non-sewing duties as needed

• Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping procedures

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of sewing experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment

• Must be proficient with industrial sewing machines

• Ability to read and follow patterns, work orders, and instructions

• Comfortable working with different types of fabrics and materials

• Strong attention to detail and quality

• Dependable with good attendance

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Candidates with previous industrial sewing, upholstery, textile, or production sewing experience are encouraged to apply!
