Sewing Machine Operator

•    Sew various finished products including pillows, cushions, and umbrellas according to assigned production schedules and work orders.
•    Work with multiple fabric types, weights, and textures, adjusting techniques as needed to meet product specifications.
•    Read and follow patterns, instructions, and documentation to produce accurate and consistent finished goods.
•    Operate industrial sewing machines and perform routine machine setup and adjustments.
•    Perform basic machine maintenance including changing feet, folders, thread, spools, and bobbins.
•    Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and workmanship prior to passing to the next production stage.
•    Maintain a clean and organized work area around the sewing station, including sweeping and trash removal.
•    Rotate to other production stations as needed, which may include non-sewing tasks.
•    Participate in documented performance reviews and skill evaluations every six months.
•    Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
•    Other duties as assigned.
•    High school diploma or equivalent preferred
•    Proficient in operating industrial sewing machines
•    Minimum of six months of sewing experience, preferably in an industrial or production environment
