Production Machine Operator – 2nd Shift

Pay: $18.24/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM
Location: Sparta, WI

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a Production Machine Operator to join a local manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, and comfortable working with production equipment and computerized controls.

What You'll Do

  • Operate production equipment, machinery, and electronic control systems, including robotics.
  • Monitor production quality and inspect finished products to meet company standards.
  • Monitor, clean, remove, and replace tooling as needed.
  • Meet daily production goals and schedules.
  • Track and report production output, scrap, and other required information.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance according to standard procedures.
  • Measure parts and materials using precision measuring tools.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
  • Communicate production issues or concerns to the supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and work overtime as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • Manufacturing or machine operation experience is preferred, but not required for the right candidate.
  • Basic computer skills, including the ability to use Excel spreadsheets.
  • Comfortable performing basic math and reading written instructions.
  • Ability to learn and retain information and work independently.
  • Ability to make decisions and troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
  • Comfortable working around machinery, noise, fumes, and varying temperatures.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at waist level and push/pull up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and reach frequently and bend, stoop, or squat occasionally.
