Pallet Repair Technician / Pallet Builder - 1st & 2nd Shift | Tomah, WI | Weekly Incentive Pay

Express Employment Professionals is now hiring Pallet Repair Technicians for a growing manufacturing company in Tomah, WI. No pallet repair experience is required. Our client is willing to train candidates who have recent experience in a heavy industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, construction, or production environment and are comfortable working with hand and power tools.

Pay

• Starting Wage: $12.50 per hour plus piece rate pay.
• Weekly Piece-Rate Incentive Pay based on production (Avg of $150-$300 plus per week--Top earners are at or above $500 per week)
• Weekly Pay

Available Shifts

1st Shift

• Monday-Thursday
• 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM

2nd Shift

• Monday-Thursday
• 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM

Job Responsibilities

As a Pallet Repair Technician, you will:

• Inspect, sort, and grade wooden pallets for repair
• Replace damaged boards using nail guns, grinders, saws, and other hand and power tools
• Repair and rebuild pallets to company quality standards
• Operate a forklift as needed (training available if applicable)
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Meet daily production goals while following all safety procedures
• Assist with additional production duties as assigned

Qualified candidates should:

• Have recent heavy industrial, manufacturing, construction, warehouse, or production experience
• Be comfortable using hand and power tools
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds
• Be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, push, pull, and perform repetitive physical work throughout the shift
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
• Have reliable transportation, a strong work ethic, and dependable attendance
