Tax Manager

Express Employment Professionals on 99th and Fort Street is currently recruiting for a Tax Manager to join a local financial services company in Omaha, NE!

Position Details:

• Type: Direct Hire
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift
• Location: On-Site
• Pay/Salary: Up to $25/hour

Job Duties:

• Manage tax processing activities, including tax payments, filings, and compliance reporting.
• Complete quarterly and annual tax filings while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Process and maintain ACH transactions, Positive Pay files, and tax-related records.
• Research and respond to tax notices while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Support tax and accounting software platforms and assist clients with questions and troubleshooting.
• Provide exceptional customer support and maintain strong client relationships.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of tax management, tax preparation, or related tax compliance experience.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations, filings, and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing tax payments, filings, and related reporting processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and tax-related software systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-service mindset.
