Claims Specialist

Type: Direct Hire, Full-Time

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Location: Downtown Omaha, NE

Pay/Salary: Starting at $18.00/hr
Job Duties:

Process and review ongoing long-term care insurance claims.
-
Maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

Evaluate claim documentation and supporting records for accuracy.

Communicate with claimants and internal departments regarding claim status and information.

Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Knowledge of claims processing procedures and regulatory requirements.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and analytical abilities.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn new software systems.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Ability to interpret medical terminology, policy language, and correspondence.

High School Diploma or GED required; post-secondary education preferred.
-
2-4 years of claims processing or auditing experience preferred.
