Sandblasting Operator
Location: Waterloo, IA
Pay: $17.00/hour
Schedule: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Monday–Friday
Type: Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals in Waterloo is seeking a Sandblasting Operator to join a local manufacturing team. This position is responsible for sandblasting parts in an enclosed booth to prepare products for finishing and production. The ideal candidate will have previous general labor experience and a strong commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate sandblasting equipment safely and efficiently
• Sandblast parts in an enclosed booth according to specifications
• Inspect completed parts for quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Assist with additional production duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous general labor experience preferred
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Ability to wear required PPE and work in a production environment
