Job Description

We are seeking a Financial Analyst – FP&A to support financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business decision-making across franchise operations.

The successful candidate will analyze pricing, costs, sales performance, KPIs, and P&L results, while providing data-driven insights and recommendations to support business growth and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Analyze pricing, food & beverage costs, labor, and overhead to support profitability and competitive pricing
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales and financial performance reports
• Analyze trends, variances, and key drivers affecting business performance
• Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and management reports
• Support month-end and quarter-end reporting, including variance analysis and financial presentations
• Lead and support annual budgeting and forecasting processes
• Assist with financial modeling and the development of long-term financial plans
• Support the preparation and analysis of corporate P&L statements
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability and financial reporting processes
• Provide financial modeling, scenario analysis, and business case support for strategic and ad-hoc projects
• Work with cross-functional teams to improve reporting, data accuracy, and process efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis; QSR, retail, or franchising experience is preferred
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and pricing
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP is an asset
• Experience with Power BI or other BI tools is an asset
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and presentation skills
• Strong business acumen with the ability to turn financial data into actionable insights
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
