Job Summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operator / Warehouse & Blending Operator for a growing manufacturing facility. This role requires strong forklift skills and involves loading/unloading trucks, moving materials throughout the warehouse and production areas, preparing shipments, and assisting with blending and packaging operations. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, dependable, and comfortable working in both warehouse and manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

Forklift & Warehouse Operations

• Operate a sit-down forklift daily to load, unload, stage, and transport materials
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and supplies
• Pick and prepare customer orders for shipment
• Organize warehouse inventory and maintain accurate inventory locations
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory counts

Production & Blending

• Follow batch sheets and production instructions
• Measure, weigh, and transfer raw materials
• Operate mixers, pumps, tanks, hoses, and related equipment
• Package finished products into drums, totes, pails, and other containers
• Complete production paperwork and quality documentation

Safety & Housekeeping

• Follow all safety policies and chemical handling procedures
• Wear required PPE and maintain a safe work environment
• Perform routine equipment inspections
• Keep warehouse, production areas, and equipment clean and organized

Qualifications

• Recent sit-down forklift experience required
• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, manufacturing, or production experience preferred
• Experience working with chemicals, blending, or industrial manufacturing is a plus
• Ability to follow written instructions and complete paperwork accurately
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical work throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in a warehouse/manufacturing environment with varying temperatures
