We are seeking a detail-oriented Import Coordinator to join our client's team in Canton, MI for a one month contract. This entry-level customer service and logistics role serves as a key connection between customers, carriers, customs brokers, and government agencies to help ensure the smooth import and delivery of goods.

Responsibilities

• Review and process import documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and customs-related paperwork
• Communicate shipment updates, tracking information, and clearance status to customers
• Resolve delivery delays and coordinate with freight forwarders, trucking companies, and customs brokers
• Enter shipment and billing data accurately into company systems
• Support compliance with U.S. Customs and other government agency requirements

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
