Drill Press Operator Monday -Friday 6am -7pm 

Position Summary: The Drill Press Operator is responsible for setting up and operating drill press machines to drill, ream, countersink, and tap holes in metal, plastic, or other materials according to specifications. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to safety and quality

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate drill press machines to produce parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and measuring instruments.
• Set up machines by selecting proper tools, drill bits, and fixtures.
• Measure and inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area clean.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Report equipment malfunctions or production issues to supervisors.
• Assist with other production or warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure, calipers, and other measuring tools.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
