Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our fast-paced team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing the accurate and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth warehouse operations, timely order fulfillment, and optimal inventory management. Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments by verifying quantities and inspecting for damages using warehouse management systems (WMS)

• Prepare outgoing shipments by accurately picking, packing, and labeling orders in accordance with customer specifications
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and load/unload trucks safely to move stock within the warehouse
• Maintain organized stock levels through proper stocking procedures and regular inventory checks using warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Ensure all shipments are correctly documented, including shipping labels, bills of lading, and other necessary paperwork
• Support warehouse distribution activities by loading and unloading freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
• Ability to get a DOT medical card and drive our box truck for local delivery
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment by following safety guidelines related to forklift operation, packaging, and warehouse procedures

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, or related roles with a focus on order fulfillment and stock management

• forklift experience, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment preferred
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation purposes
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order picking, packing, labeling, and documentation processes
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy packages regularly; comfortable standing or walking for extended periods
• Excellent organizational skills combined with a proactive attitude toward safety compliance and process improvement
