Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

Duties:

Set up, tune, troubleshoot, and optimize extrusion tooling and processes to ensure quality and production efficiency.
Identify and resolve processing, tooling, and equipment issues to minimize downtime and maintain product quality.
Assist with the implementation, testing, and validation of new tooling and process improvements.
Train and support production personnel on extrusion processes, equipment operation, and best practices.
Monitor production performance and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, and production documents.
Operate and utilize a variety of production machinery, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments.
Perform process adjustments and tooling modifications as needed to meet product specifications.
Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
Maintain accurate records related to process changes, troubleshooting activities, and production support.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of profile extrusion experience required.
Experience troubleshooting extrusion tooling and manufacturing processes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
Experience operating manufacturing equipment, machinery, and related production systems.
Ability to use hand tools and precision measuring devices accurately.
Maintenance experience is a plus.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to train and support production employees effectively.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to learn, follow established plans, and adapt to changing production needs.
