Express Employment Professionals is seeking dependable and hardworking Construction Laborers for a facility in Plainview, TX. This position will support maintenance and upkeep projects within a plant environment. Candidates should be comfortable performing physical labor, using hand and power tools, and working both independently and as part of a team.

Individuals with previous experience in construction, industrial maintenance, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, or plant environments are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Perform construction cleanup and general labor duties
Assist with maintenance and upkeep of plant equipment and work areas
Safely operate basic hand tools and power tools
Move materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance projects
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Follow all plant safety policies and procedures
Support production and maintenance teams with assigned tasks

Qualifications

Previous construction, warehouse, manufacturing, or plant experience preferred
Experience using basic hand tools and power tools required
Knowledge of industrial or plant environments is a plus
Experience working with chemicals and monitoring gauges preferred
Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills
Ability to follow instructions and work safely around equipment
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physical labor throughout the shift
Comfortable working in an industrial or plant setting
Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions
