A growing company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer who is passionate about innovation, continuous improvement, and long-term career growth. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design and development of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes, ensuring high-quality production and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and refine mechanical components and systems using CAD software.
- Develop prototypes and oversee testing to validate design performance.
- Ensure components meet customer specifications and engineering standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and procurement.
- Communicate technical findings and project updates to stakeholders.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables.
- Support the transition of components to production and resolve manufacturing challenges.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain accurate engineering documentation and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Adhere to AS9100 Quality Management System requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in defense-related manufacturing is a plus.
- Familiarity with CNC machining is a plus.
- Prior management experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of materials science and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Pay for this position is between $85,000-$125,000 a year.
