About the Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Sales Administrator to join our manufacturing team in Phoenix, AZ. This role is ideal for someone with experience in manufacturing who excels at estimating, reviewing engineering specifications, and supporting the sales process from quote to order fulfillment.
The successful candidate will serve as a key link between customers, sales, engineering, and production teams, ensuring accurate quotations, project coordination, and exceptional customer support.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate estimates and quotations by reviewing customer requirements, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Support sales and engineering teams by coordinating project details, pricing, and customer requests.
- Manage order entry, project documentation, and internal communications to ensure smooth project execution.
- Review blueprints, technical drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and manufacturing specifications.
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Track projects, maintain records, and provide timely updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Sales Administration, Estimating, Engineering Support, or a related manufacturing role.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering documentation.
- Experience preparing estimates, quotations, and pricing calculations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, ERP/MRP systems, and estimating software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
