Machine Operator/CNC Cutting Table Operator

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)

We are seeking a dependable CNC Cutting Table Operator to set up, operate, and maintain CNC cutting equipment to produce quality metal components according to engineering drawings and production requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC plasma/laser cutting tables.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, drawings, and nesting layouts.
• Load and run CNC programs, verify materials, and ensure proper machine setup.
• Inspect parts for accuracy and quality using measuring tools.
• Perform routine maintenance, equipment inspections, and minor troubleshooting.
• Maintain production records and follow all safety procedures.
• Assist with other fabrication and production tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience operating CNC plasma, laser, or similar CNC equipment preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.
• Basic computer, math, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail, dependability, and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Experience

• Vicon, Vulcan, Hypertherm, or similar CNC cutting systems.
• Forklift experience or certification.
• Knowledge of metal fabrication processes, nesting software, and lean manufacturing practices.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with heat, noise, dust, and moving equipment.
• Must be able to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toed boots.
