Logistics & Inventory Coordinator / CDL Driver

Pay: Starting at $18.00 per hour, depending on experience

We are seeking a dependable and professional Logistics & Inventory Coordinator / CDL Driver to join our team! This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of responsibilities and is comfortable working in an industrial environment. The selected candidate will represent the company while interacting with customers and vendors, assist with inventory and shop operations, and make deliveries using company vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory of fasteners, welding supplies, hydraulic hoses and fittings, utility items, sanitary supplies, and other materials.
• Check on parts orders and communicate with vendors regarding order status.
• Supply job parts to the shop floor as needed.
• Deliver and pick up parts from vendors and customers using company-provided vehicles.
• Drive a pickup truck with a 35-foot trailer for deliveries.
• Drive pickup trucks and non-air-brake flatbed trucks as needed.
• Work closely with the Sales and Operations teams.
• Serve as a liaison between the company, customers, and vendors.
• Provide reports during weekly Operations meetings.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to load and unload trucks.
• Perform clerical and administrative duties related to inventory, parts, and job orders.
• Use Outlook or other email platforms to maintain records of communication.
• Use Microsoft Excel and Word to create, review, and process parts and inventory orders.
• Utilize JobBoss to enter jobs and pull reports as needed. Training will be provided.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• CDL license with trailer experience required.
• Ability to safely operate a pickup truck with a 35-foot trailer.
• Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes preferred.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse, shop floor, and customer locations.
• Ability to work safely around heavy equipment and overhead cranes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with a variety of personalities.
• Professional demeanor and appearance, as this position regularly represents the company to customers and vendors.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Previous inventory, logistics, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred.
• Must be physically capable of performing demanding work and handling materials as needed.
