Irrigation Service Tech Commerical & Residential

Job Summary

We are looking for an  Irrigation Technician.  This candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems in various environments, including residential and commercial properties.  This role ensures efficient and effective water management, optimizing irrigation for landscape minimizing waste. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on technical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and knowledge of irrigation systems and water conservation practices.

Some job duties are but not limited to:

Plan and install new irrigation systems according to design specifications.

Layout and connect pipes, sprinklers, valves, controllers, and other components.

Test new systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and adjust as necessary.

Inspect and troubleshoot irrigation systems to identify leaks, malfunctions, or other issues.

Replace damaged or worn components, including pipes, sprinkler heads, controllers, and valves.

Adjust system settings to optimize water usage and ensure adequate coverage.

Implement system upgrades to enhance water efficiency, including installing rain sensors and smart controllers.

Adjust and calibrate systems seasonally to align with plant needs, weather conditions, and water restrictions.

Monitor and manage water usage to prevent overwatering and conserve resources.

Implement best practices in water conservation and sustainable irrigation techniques.

 

Qualifications:

Irrigation Tech Experience

Operate Power Tools

Valid Driver’s License

Clean Driving Record

 

Position Type: Full Time/Temp to Perm

Pay:   $19.00-$22.00  depending on experience

Schedule: 1st shift  start times may vary
