Salary: $25.00–$28.00/hour

An Edmonton client is seeking a Fabricator to join their team.

Fabricator Highlights:

• Perform metal fabrication, finishing, and preparation of industrial components and parts.
• Operate 5”–7” grinders to grind, clean, deburr, and prepare metal surfaces.
• Remove excess material, slag, burrs, and rough edges from fabricated metal components.
• Assist with hydrotesting, including setup, handling, positioning, and preparation of metal components.
• Support fit-up, assembly, preparation, and general fabrication activities as directed.
• Read basic measurements and follow work instructions to ensure components are prepared to specification.
• Safely lift, move, and position materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe fabrication/shop work area.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and quality requirements.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience within metal fabrication, machining, or a heavy industrial shop environment.
• Hands-on experience working with metal components.
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable working around industrial equipment.
• Experience using grinders and other fabrication tools.
• Ability to read basic measurements and follow detailed work instructions.
• Physically capable of lifting and moving materials up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
• Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to successfully pass a Drug & Alcohol test.
