Warehouse Employee

Located in Edmonton, AB

Salary: $21.75/hour

An Edmonton client is seeking a Warehouse Employee to join their team.

Warehouse Employee Highlights:

• Load and unload, store, and package products at the warehouse facility.
• Assist with shipping and receiving duties.
• Ensure accurate shipping and receiving of all products to and from the warehouse.
• Inspect and verify products and quantities during loading and unloading of transport vehicles.
• Verify and sign inspection documents and checklists for products.
• Ensure materials are packaged correctly and safely for transportation.
• Complete required inspections and tests before products are released to customers.
• Repackage chemical products and Soda Ash as required.
• Accurately stencil and label bags.
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment safely and properly.
• Maintain current knowledge of WHMIS, TDG, and other applicable safety regulations.
• Follow proper dangerous goods identification and safe work practices.
• Maintain the warehouse, equipment, and supplies in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Support the warehouse team with other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Forklift experience is an asset; certification is not required.
• Knowledge of products, dangerous goods, and safe work practices is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• High school diploma required.
• Reliable, safety-focused, and willing to follow established procedures.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to pull loads of up to 100 lbs.
• Comfortable with squatting, bending, kneeling, stair climbing, reaching, and twisting.
• Ability to stand and walk for intermittent periods.
• Ability to sit for extended periods.
• Physically capable of performing repetitive warehouse and material-handling duties.

• $21.75/hour
• Shift work
