Salary: 22.30
Train on 1st shift and eventually move to 2nd or 3rd shift. Must be available to work any shift.
$22.30/HR starting pay with night shift differentials.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Understand and follow all safety policies and procedures, including Safe Work Practices.
2. Must learn and follow LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out),MOC (Management of Change), SOP (Standard Operating Procedures),
Standard Work Procedures and Engineering Instructions (EI).
3. Perform simple computer work, for example inputting of data, monitoring of process equipment though PLC.
4. Perform chemical lab analysis, accurately and reliably to procedure.
5. Perform all standard work accurately and reliably
6. Break chemical lines, and clean vessels to perform routine process procedures and prepare the process for maintenance
work.
7. Log process data and batch process progress on paper logs as needed.
8. Operator will be assigned various tasks throughout the day that may include process monitoring for many hours, or process
setup and tear down.
9. Daily engagement in the Tier 1 process which includes generating safety, quality and cost improvement ideas.
10. Participate in process improvement Kaizen events when assigned.
11. Perform TPM (Total Performance Maintenance) procedures as required by the LMS system.
12. Learn and utilize the DPQx SPC system for monitoring process health and report any abnormalities to a member of leadership
13. Required to drive a forklift
14. Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance
15. Must be able to work any shift and cover overtime as necessary to maintain business operations.
16. Operator I will be able to operate independently with in the areas that they are certified/trained in
JOB FACTORS
KNOWLEDGE: Perform work requiring general knowledge of production principles where productive process depends on an ability to
detect and correct the defect. Basic understanding of Lean principles.
SURROUNDINGS: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; elevated
work locations; severe hot and cold temperatures; conditions such as fumes, dust, chemicals, and noise which necessitate the wearing
of specialized protective clothing/devices. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions, even when weather is
severe. The noise level in the environment is usually moderate to loud.
