Express is seeking a Welding Supervisor for a manufacturing facility in Allison!

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced welding professional ready to take on a leadership role. The Welding Supervisor will help coordinate daily welding operations, support the production team, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.

Job Duties of the Welding Supervisor:

• Oversee daily welding activities and help coordinate workflow
• Lead and support a team of welders to meet production and project requirements
• Review job requirements and ensure the appropriate materials and components are available
• Monitor work to ensure welds and finished products meet quality expectations
• Assist with troubleshooting production or welding-related issues
• Provide guidance and support to welding team members
• Help organize jobs and prioritize work based on production needs
• Promote safe work practices and ensure proper procedures are followed
• Communicate with management regarding job progress, materials, staffing, and production concerns
• Perform hands-on welding and fabrication work as needed
• Other duties as required

Qualifications of the Welding Supervisor:

• High school diploma or GED
• Several years of professional welding experience
• Strong MIG and TIG welding skills
• Previous welding leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Ability to read and understand welding specifications and job requirements
• Strong knowledge of welding processes, equipment, and safety practices
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to effectively lead and communicate with a team
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Ability to bend, lift, twist, crouch, etc.
• Must be able to successfully complete a welding test
