We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate for a day shift opportunity with a local manufacturing company. This position begins with warehouse work and provides the opportunity to become certified to operate a sit-down forklift after being hired on.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist with daily warehouse operations
Move, organize, and prepare materials throughout the warehouse
Perform general warehouse duties during the initial training period
Complete required forklift testing and training
Learn and follow proper forklift safety procedures
Maintain a safe and organized work area
Requirements:
Previous forklift experience is highly preferred
Must successfully complete a forklift testing
Must be dependable and able to perform all required warehouse duties
Ability to safely handle the physical demands of a warehouse environment
Willingness to learn and complete forklift training
Important Forklift Information:
The first 3 months will be spent working in the warehouse while demonstrating the ability to perform the required duties.
A forklift test must be completed first as part of the evaluation process.
After being hired on by the client, the employee will have the opportunity to complete training and become forklift certified.
The position involves operating a sit-down forklift once properly trained and certified.
Actual forklift operation will begin after being hired on and completing the required training/certification.

Pay: $17.10/hr
