Maintenance Technician

• Hours: Monday – Friday, 5:00am - 3:30pm
• Rate: $23-$26 per hour
• Education: HS Diploma or equivalent, trade school, military, or specialized training
• Experience: Manufacturing, industrial, service industry
• Computer Skills: Outlook, Internet, Excel

Required Skills:

• Mechanical: Repair mechanisms, bearings, rotating assemblies, chain drives, motors
• Hydraulic: Repair hoses, pumps, cylinders
• Fabrication: Design/make small parts, improve equipment/process
• Welding: Ability to weld if necessary
• Familiarity: Chiller systems, compressor systems, material conveyors, manufacturing equipment, chipper, and recycling grinders

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain manufacturing equipment
• Conduct daily plant safety inspections
• Perform and document PM servicing of all equipment
• Identify and schedule repairs for mechanical problems
• Maintain and expand spare parts and tools inventory
• Collaborate with service techs
• Maintain PM, maintenance requests, and service records

Additional Duties:

• Paint equipment and perform drywall repairs
• Clean and sweep plant floors
• Help unload trailers in receiving
• Weigh and store recycled plastic using a forklift/scale
