Shipping & Receiving Associate

Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate for a growing water treatment manufacturing and distribution company in the Mesa area.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Pay: $19

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to support daily warehouse operations. This role is responsible for receiving incoming shipments, preparing outbound orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and safely operating a sit-down forklift. The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments
• Unload trucks using a sit-down forklift
• Pull, pack, and stage customer orders for shipment
• Prepare shipping documents and labels
• Accurately enter inventory transactions into company systems
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory control
• Load outbound shipments safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
• Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse standards
• Work closely with production, purchasing, and logistics teams

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of shipping & receiving or warehouse experience
• Previous sit-down forklift experience required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Basic computer skills for inventory and shipping systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Dependable attendance and positive work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with inventory management systems
• Manufacturing or distribution warehouse experience
• Forklift certification (preferred, not required)
