Quality Inspector (Temporary Contract)

Our client, a well-established aerospace manufacturing organization specializing in precision-machined components, is seeking a Quality Inspector for a temporary contract assignment. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced quality professional with strong measurement and inspection skills who can support production and final inspection activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

 

This role focuses on performing final dimensional inspections of high-precision machined components to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and customer quality requirements.

• Monday to Friday schedule, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect finished machined parts to ensure they meet specifications
• Use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to check dimensions
• Read and follow engineering drawings and work instructions
• Record measurements and inspection results accurately
• Identify and report parts that do not meet quality standards
• Follow company quality procedures and safety requirements
• Handle precision components and measuring equipment carefully
• Work with the production team to help maintain quality and delivery targets

 

Qualifications

• Previous quality inspection experience in a manufacturing or machining environment
• Experience using calipers and micrometers
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently
• Available to start immediately and commit to the temporary assignment
