Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking General Laborer to join our warehouse team. This position involves material handling, measuring, organizing, loading and unloading, and assisting with general warehouse and production duties. The ideal candidate must be dependable, safety-conscious, physically capable, and willing to learn.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, and organize materials throughout the warehouse.
• Safely lift and handle materials as required.
• Read and accurately use a standard tape measure.
• Measure materials and components according to job specifications.
• Assist with packaging, labeling, sorting, and preparing materials for shipment.
• Assist production and warehouse personnel with daily tasks.
• Use basic hand tools and equipment as needed.
• Keep the warehouse, workstations, and aisles clean and organized.
• Inspect materials for damage or defects and report problems to a supervisor.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Follow all company safety rules, procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform other warehouse and general labor duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, construction, or general labor experience is a plus.
• Must be able to read and understand a tape measure.
• Must be able to safely lift and move materials.
• Ability to follow directions and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Dependable and willing to learn.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials throughout the workday.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb as needed.
• Ability to safely handle materials and warehouse equipment.
• Ability to work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.

Work Environment

The position is performed in a warehouse and manufacturing environment and may involve exposure to noise, dust, machinery, and varying temperatures. Proper PPE must be worn as required, and all safety procedures must be followed.
