Located in York, PA

Salary: $18-$20/hr DOE

Hours: Monday-Thursday 5:30am-3:30pm. Potential OT on Friday, 5:30am-10:30am. May have 40-50 hour work weeks.

Dress code: Jeans or work pants. T-shirt. No rips, holes, or tears. Nothing offensive. Steel toed shoes.

Job Description: 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Familiarity with blueprints
• Ability to select proper tooling and hold parts to within close tolerances.
• Troubleshoot and perform basic mechanical maintenance.

• Familiarity using essential fabrication hand tools (angle grinders, squares, scales, calipers)
• Detail oriented
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to quality.

Leadership Qualities:

• Being able to communicate with the team and Plant Manager
• Filter questions and issues within the team
• Working with the students in our Co-Op Program
• Checking on parts/jobs to make sure they are done with accuracy

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Prior experience is a plus.
• Work in cooperation with other fabricators and team members.
• Measurement, mathematical and conversion skills.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.
• Must be able to stand for 10 hours per day and lift at least 50 pounds (partner lifting for safety reasons)
