Fabricator / Welder

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Fabricator / Welder to fabricate, weld, and assemble metal components and structures according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong welding skills, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to produce high-quality work while meeting production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, weld symbols, and work instructions.
• Measure, cut, fit, form, and prepare metal materials for fabrication.
• Perform MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding as required.
• Set up and operate welding machines, plasma cutters, grinders, saws, drills, and other fabrication equipment.
• Assemble and weld components to required dimensions and specifications.
• Perform tack welding, final welding, grinding, and finishing operations.
• Inspect finished welds and fabricated parts for quality, accuracy, and defects.
• Use measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, calipers, and levels.
• Make adjustments to fabricated parts to ensure proper fit and alignment.
• Maintain proper welding techniques and settings based on material type and thickness.
• Identify material, equipment, or quality issues and report them to supervision.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Properly maintain and care for welding equipment, tools, and machinery.
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies.
• Complete work efficiently while meeting established production and quality standards.
