Express Employment Professionals is recruiting a CDL-A Equipment Operator for a local company working primarily at industrial and mine sites. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys operating equipment, working outdoors, and taking on a variety of hands-on responsibilities.

This position is full-time and offers a 4 day work week with potential for overtime based on workload. We are looking for highly motivated and dependable workers.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractors, tracked vehicles, hydroseeders, and other equipment
• Transport equipment between mine sites using a Class A CDL
• Occasionally haul hay bales or pick up materials and supplies from vendors
• Assist the foreman with daily projects and jobsite priorities
• Communicate with customers regarding project needs and timelines
• Coordinate with vendors, farmers, fertilizer suppliers, hay haulers, and others to help ensure materials and resources are available when needed
• Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and minor repairs when able
• Maintain a strong focus on safe equipment operation and jobsite practices

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required
• Ability to complete MSHA training
• Experience operating tractors, tracked equipment, or similar machinery preferred
• Strong commitment to safety
• Dependable, organized, and able to work independently
• Comfortable communicating with customers, vendors, and coworkers
• Mechanical aptitude or basic equipment repair skills are a plus
• Ability to adapt to changing projects and priorities
