Express is seeking a Welder for a manufacturing facility in Allison!

Express is currently seeking Welders for a temporary 6–7 month opportunity with the potential to become long-term for the right candidate. This is a great opportunity for experienced welders, as well as recent welding school graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.

 

 

1st Shift | $20–$30/hour based on experience | Choose from 6:00 AM–2:30 PM or 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Job Duties of the Welder:

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metal components
• Read and follow welding instructions and specifications
• Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy
• Prepare materials and workpieces for welding
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and proper PPE requirements
• Work as part of a team to meet production goals
• Other duties as required

Qualifications of the Welder:

• High school diploma or GED
• MIG and/or TIG welding experience preferred
• Recent welding school graduates are encouraged to apply
• Ability to successfully complete a welding test
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
• Reliability and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to bend, lift, twist, crouch, etc.
