Packager / Crate Builder – Temp to Hire

Location: Hoffman Estates, IL
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM
Overtime: Lots of overtime currently available! Must be flexible to start earlier and stay later as needed.

Are you someone with construction, carpentry, or hands-on assembly experience? We are looking for reliable and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Packagers/Crate Builders!

In this role, you will assist with packaging and building custom wooden crates used to safely ship medical devices and other specialized equipment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, taking accurate measurements, and building quality products.

What You'll Do:

• Measure and cut wood according to custom specifications

• Assemble custom wooden crates and boxes

• Use hand tools, power tools, and nail guns

• Package and prepare products for shipment

• Follow measurements and specifications carefully

• Maintain quality and accuracy throughout the packaging process

• Assist with general warehouse and packaging duties as needed

What We're Looking For:

• Previous construction, carpentry, woodworking, or similar hands-on experience preferred

• Comfortable measuring, cutting, and assembling wood products

• Experience using nail guns and hand/power tools is a plus

• Forklift experience is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow custom measurements

• Must be comfortable working overtime and maintaining a flexible schedule

• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
