Die Cast Operator

Salary: $17/hr

We’re looking for motivated individuals to join a growing manufacturing team as a Die Cast Operator. In this hands-on role, you’ll operate and monitor die casting machines that inject molten metal into molds to create precision metal components. You'll be responsible for ensuring parts meet quality standards, removing finished castings from machines, performing visual inspections, trimming excess material, and keeping production running efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity to build your manufacturing skills while working closely with production staff and supervisors to maintain quality, troubleshoot minor equipment issues, track production output, and meet customer deadlines. Previous manufacturing, machine operation, or metalworking experience is helpful, but we are willing to train dependable individuals who are safety-focused and eager to learn.

Shift Schedule

• 1st Shift Monday - Thursday 5:45am-2:45pm
• Friday 5:45am-9:45am
• Overtime may be available based on production needs

Pay

• $17.00 per hour
• Weekly paychecks every Friday

Responsibilities and Duties

• Operate and monitor die casting machines throughout production cycles
• Load raw materials and remove finished metal castings from equipment
• Inspect parts for defects and verify dimensions meet specifications
• Trim excess material and prepare parts for secondary operations or packaging
• Track and report production output to supervisors
• Perform basic machine adjustments and troubleshoot minor issues
• Follow all quality, safety, and manufacturing procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management

Skills and Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, machine operation, foundry, or metalworking experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a consistent basis
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per shift
• Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive motion
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
