About the Role

Express Employment Professionals – Guelph is recruiting on behalf of a local manufacturing company for a Repalletizing Operator. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Repalletizing Operator to join a fast-paced production environment. This position is responsible for operating an automated repalletizer system and ensuring finished products are safely and efficiently transferred onto customer-ready pallets.

The successful candidate will monitor equipment, verify pallet configurations and materials, maintain product quality and traceability, complete production documentation, and work closely with Production, Quality, Inventory, Shipping, and Maintenance teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the automated repalletizer safely and efficiently
• Monitor machine performance and respond to faults, jams, and alarms
• Perform basic troubleshooting and safely clear product jams
• Escalate mechanical issues to Maintenance or the Shift Lead when required
• Complete startup, changeover, and shutdown procedures
• Perform routine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance
• Ensure products are palletized according to customer specifications
• Verify correct can type, dunnage, pallet configuration, and packaging materials
• Communicate pallet and lid requirements to the appropriate production team members
• Track production time, pallet counts, quantities, materials, downtime, and delays
• Complete production dockets and required documentation accurately
• Perform in-process quality checks and maintain product traceability
• Report quality concerns, damaged products, or incorrect materials immediately
• Work with Production, Quality, Inventory, Shipping, and Maintenance teams to keep production moving
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all company health and safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• Manufacturing or production experience is preferred
• Experience operating automated production equipment is an asset
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable using computers and production tracking systems
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to lift and handle production materials safely
• Forklift certification is an asset, or willingness to obtain certification
• Steel-toe boots or approved safety footwear required
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn
