Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable 2nd or 3rd Production Operator to support manufacturing operations in a high-tech production environment in Torrington, CT. This position involves operating production equipment, following established procedures, monitoring processes, and performing quality checks to ensure components are produced safely and consistently.

Pay Rate: $19.80-$20.70

Schedule: Full-Time - 2nd shift: 3:30 PM-11:30 PM; 3rd shift: 11:30 PM-7:30 AM

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing and processing equipment.
• Follow detailed work instructions, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Load and unload materials and components from production equipment.
• Monitor equipment settings and process conditions and report abnormalities.
• Perform visual and dimensional quality inspections using basic measuring tools.
• Identify defects or process issues and notify the appropriate supervisor or technician.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work effectively with production, quality, and maintenance teams.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and environmental procedures.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
