Plant Manager

Located in Roseville, MI

Salary: $27-30

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily plant operations to ensure efficient and safe production
  • Direct production activities to meet goals for output, quality, delivery, and cost
  • Supervise department supervisors and employees, including scheduling, performance management, and employee development
  • Coordinate foundry operations including molding, core making, melting/pouring, finishing, and machining
  • Enforce standardized work procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements
  • Monitor production processes and take initiative to resolve issues and improve efficiency
  • Operate or oversee equipment including overhead cranes, forklifts, dollies, furnaces, and conveyor systems

Qualifications:

  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • Foundry experience preferred; steel industry experience a plus
  • Pattern-making knowledge or experience preferred
  • Strong focus on quality and attention to detail
  • Excellent time-management and problem-solving skills
  • Takes initiative and works well in a fast-paced environment
  • Friendly, approachable, and hardworking
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work around heavy industrial equipment

Additional information for the Custodial position

·         Pay: $27-30 per hour

·         Monday-Friday: 6 AM-3:30 PM

·         Roseville, Michigan
