General Labor/Molder

Located in Roseville, MI

Salary: $16-$22

Key Responsibilities:

• Create sand molds around patterns to form cavities for metal castings
• Carefully remove patterns without damaging mold cavities
• Inspect molds for cracks, defects, and dimensional issues before pouring
• Mix and prepare molding sand with the appropriate binder system
• Operate equipment such as overhead cranes, forklifts, conveyors, dollies, and furnaces
• Clean and maintain molding tools, machinery, and work areas
• Follow strict safety procedures when working around heavy equipment, chemicals, hot metal, dust, and moving machinery

Qualifications:

• Foundry experience preferred
• Steel industry and pattern-making experience a plus
• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
• Reliable, punctual, friendly, and hardworking
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to operate or learn to operate material-handling equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards

Additional information for the Custodial position

·         Pay: $16-22 per hour

·         Monday- Friday: 6AM-3:30PM

·         Roseville, Michigan
