Our client is seeking a Credit Analyst!

 

Position Summary
The Credit Analyst supports the Bank’s lending function by conducting credit and financial analysis for new commercial loan requests, renewals, and ongoing portfolio reviews. This role helps ensure sound credit decisions and effective portfolio management.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze commercial credit requests, including financial statement spreading, cash flow analysis, and preparation of loan approval documentation.
• Evaluate borrower and guarantor financial strength, management capabilities, industry conditions, and repayment capacity.
• Conduct annual credit reviews, risk rating updates, and commercial line of credit renewals.
• Monitor financial reporting requirements, covenant compliance, and documentation tracking within LoanVantage.
• Perform industry and market research to support credit decisions.
• Assist with loan modifications, extensions, audits, loan reviews, and regulatory examinations.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies, lending regulations, and BSA requirements.
• Provide support to lending and credit administration teams to ensure accurate loan documentation.
• Participate in community outreach activities and perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Banking or credit analysis experience preferred.
• Knowledge of business and personal financial statements and tax returns.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or collaboratively.

 

Working Relationships

Works closely with Credit and Loan Department staff, Business Development Officers, the Chief Credit Officer, and the Chief Lending Officer to support portfolio quality and lending objectives.

 

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, use a computer and review documents, and occasionally lift up to 15 pounds. Reasonable accommodations will be provided as needed.
