Controller | New Hudson, MI

We are seeking an experienced Controller to join a collaborative accounting and operations team for a well-established company in New Hudson, MI. This is a key leadership role for a detail-oriented accounting professional who can identify discrepancies, meet deadlines, and provide reliable oversight across accounting and select HR functions. Service industry and project accounting experience are highly preferred.

Pay: Up to $140,000/year, based on experience

Schedule: Monday – Friday | Onsite with Hybrid capabilities

Employment Type: Direct Hire

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee daily accounting operations and financial accuracy.
• Lead and support the accounting team.
• Manage financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Support payroll-related responsibilities, including payroll accruals.
• Identify discrepancies and improve accounting processes.
• Partner with leadership on financial and operational decisions.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Strong accounting, financial reporting, and reconciliation experience.
• Service industry and/or project accounting experience preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong follow-through.
• Reliable, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
• Adaptable and comfortable learning a non-traditional accounting structure; HR oversight experience is a plus.
