In this hands-on role, you will work across various production stations to cut, measure, punch, and assemble commercial window frames to exact specifications. What You Will Do

  • Precision Frame Cutting: Measure raw framing materials and make cuts down to precise 1/16" and 1/32" tolerances.

  • Assembly & Fabrication: Read detailed work orders and structural prints to build, join, and assemble window frames using mallets, hammers, and power screwdrivers.

  • Quality & Measurement Audits: Measure materials prior to cutting and re-verify finished cut dimensions for 100% accuracy.

  • Die Department Operations: Operate die punch machines to stamp and notch small components for final frame assembly.

  • Tool Operation: Safely handle and operate standard hand tools, pneumatic tools, and power drivers throughout your shift.

What You Need

  • Expert Ruler Reading (Required): Must pass a required Ruler Reading Assessment (down to 1/32" increment) prior to scheduling an interview.

  • Hand Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience using hammers, mallets, power screwdrivers, and basic assembly tools.

  • Mathematical & Measurement Skills: Strong ability to quickly calculate, add, and combine measurements accurately.

  • Blueprint & Work Order Literacy: Ability to read and follow written work orders, assembly steps, and layout guidelines.

  • Reliability: Consistent attendance, strong work ethic, and dependable transportation to University City, MO.

  • Screening: Willingness to complete standard pre-employment evaluations, ruler testing, and background checks.
