We are currently conducting a search for a Warehouse Supervisor role with a manufacturing client in Janesville.

 

This is a direct hire opportunity, with a client that offers full benefits.

 

This is a leadership role that will involve hands-on work in the warehouse. The Warehouse Manager is expected to work alongside warehouse employees and personally participate in loading and unloading trucks, moving material, preparing orders, operating forklifts and other equipment, and maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse.

 

Duties

• Direct and participate in daily warehouse activities.
• Supervise, train, schedule, and assist warehouse employees.
• Load and unload trucks and containers.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Receive incoming materials and verify quantities and condition.
• Pick, stage, package, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Verify outgoing shipments for correct product, quantity, dimensions, and documentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory and assist with physical inventory counts.
• Organize warehouse locations to maximize space and improve material flow.
• Coordinate daily shipping and receiving priorities with the General Manager, production, customer service, and other departments.

Skills

• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, manufacturing, or distribution experience required.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Forklift experience required or willingness to become certified.
• Ability and willingness to perform physical warehouse work throughout the workday.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to accurately count, measure, and verify materials.
• Basic computer skills for inventory, shipping, and warehouse documentation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, production personnel, truck drivers, and carriers.

Shift: Day shift, with flexibility to work overtime as needed

 

Pay: $55,000 - $60,000 depending on experience
