POOL REPAIR TECH (20-25/HR DOE)

We are seeking a dedicated Pool Repair Technician to join our professional team, specializing in the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of swimming pools and aquatic facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills, a thorough understanding of pool plumbing systems, and experience handling water treatment chemicals. This role is vital in ensuring safe, clean, and properly functioning pools for our clients. The successful applicant will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining outdoor work environments efficiently.

 

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, and plumbing systems to ensure optimal operation.
  • Perform routine pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, skimming debris, and balancing water chemistry.
  • Handle water treatment chemicals safely and accurately to maintain proper pool chemistry levels.
  • Troubleshoot issues with pool plumbing systems and mechanical components using hand tools and power tools.
  • Conduct equipment inspections and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Assist with water testing procedures to ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
  • Operate company vehicles responsibly for on-site service calls and equipment transportation.
  • Maintain detailed service records, reports, and documentation of repairs performed.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly about repairs needed and maintenance procedures.
  • Ensure outdoor work environments are kept safe, organized, and compliant with safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Reliable work experience in a trade such as plumbing, maintenance, equipment repair
  • Prior experience in pool maintenance preferred but not required.
  • Must love the water. Company will provide scuba certification.
  • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment safely.
  • Valid driver’s license and responsible driving record with the ability to operate company vehicles responsibly.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for recordkeeping and reporting.
  • Able to pass a drug screen.
  • Capable of lifting 50 pounds as needed.

Position will work Mon - Friday 7:00am until done, typically by 5:30pm depending upon business needs.
