19 Foot Stake Bed Driver (Urgent Need)

Position Overview

 

***THIS IS A ONE-WEEK ASSIGNMENT***

We are seeking a dependable and experienced 19-foot Stake Bed Truck Driver to safely load, transport, and unload materials and equipment. The ideal candidate has experience operating stake-bed trucks, is comfortable using a forklift, and can safely secure cargo for transportation.

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and Real ID
• Experience driving a 19-foot stake bed truck
• Current forklift certification
• Ability to safely operate a forklift for loading and unloading materials
• Clean and safe driving record
• Ability to properly load, unload, secure, and inspect cargo
• Knowledge of basic vehicle safety and daily pre-trip inspections
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow delivery instructions and communicate professionally with customers and dispatch

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a 19-foot stake bed truck safely and responsibly
• Load and unload materials using a forklift and/or other appropriate equipment
• Properly secure materials, pallets, and equipment before transport
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety issues
• Deliver materials to customers, job sites, warehouses, and other locations
• Verify quantities and condition of materials during loading and delivery
• Maintain delivery paperwork and obtain required signatures
• Follow all applicable traffic, safety, and company regulations
• Keep the truck and equipment clean and in good operating condition
• Assist with warehouse or yard loading/unloading duties when needed

Preferred Experience

• 1+ year of stake-bed or flatbed driving experience
• Commercial delivery experience
• Forklift operation experience
• Experience handling building materials, equipment, pallets, or construction supplies
• Familiarity with local deliveries and job-site environments

Physical Requirements

The position requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull materials and safely climb onto and off the truck. The driver must be able to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
