1st Shift Sanitation
Located in Columbus, IN
Salary: $21/hr
Company Information: A local company in Walesboro is hiring a Sanitation Associate to join their team! This is a clean, well-maintained work environment, and the company is hiring immediately.
You Will:
Be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and food-safe environment by performing sanitation and cleaning duties throughout the facility while following company and food safety standards.
Sanitation Associate's Job Duties:
- Clean and sanitize production areas, floors, drains, garbage containers, and facility grounds
- Follow sanitation procedures to maintain food safety and cleanliness standards
- Monitor and restock sanitation supplies throughout the facility
- Properly use and maintain sanitation chemicals, cleaning equipment, and supplies
- Complete assigned sanitation tasks and documentation as required
- Identify and report pest activity, equipment issues, and safety concerns
- Work closely with Production, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to support sanitation needs
- Follow all SQF, SSOP, GMP, and food safety requirements
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures
- Assist with deep cleaning projects as needed
Sanitation Associate's Pay/Benefits:
- Pay starts at $21/hr

Schedule:
- 1st shift
- Monday-Friday 5am-3pm
Requirements:
- Previous sanitation, janitorial, manufacturing, or food production experience preferred
- Must be willing to perform hands-on sanitation and cleaning work
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation chemicals, and cleaning procedures is a plus
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required
